Job Description

SCADA engineer provides technical support to the Project and Services teams in relation to SCADA & Grid scope, including SCADA and grid commissioning and testing procedures and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the whole fleet of SCADA systems in the region and elaborate proposals for improvement and business development to the Service Sales and Business Development partners.
• Influence cross-functional stakeholders to integrate business. processes, standardize across fulfillment sites, and drive fast decision making to enable an accelerated SCADA implementation schedule.
• Provide regular updates to the business leadership team on project progress and escalate as necessary to remove issues.
• Drive business case optimization and value engineering initiatives for SCADA offerings.
• Responsibility for next generation SCADA products.
• Design and certification of various standards like UL, IEC and other safety regulative.
• Technical Purchase Specifications.
• Supporting development of Hardware-In-the-Loop test equipment.

Requirements

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical or related field.
• The installation, reception, and configuration of servers, networks, and equipment.
• Continuous maintenance and upgrades to the SCADA systems.
• Drive business case optimization and value engineering initiatives for SCADA offerings
• Data communication monitoring.
• PLC circuit troubleshooting.
• Proficient in Ignition to store and retrieve data.
• Ability to create database schema.
• Ignition Gold Certified preferred.
