Manufacturing Engineers specializing in Automation and Controls oversee the development and implementation of automated systems, ensuring seamless production processes while optimizing efficiency and quality within manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Communicating with others for successful checkout, start-up, and commissioning of projects involving DCS & PLCs.
• Works with the Technical Facility design, construction management and operations teams to develop and deploy control systems that ensure maximum system reliability and efficiency.
• Strives for continuous improvement and maintains Change Control, Configuration Management, and current documentation.
• Maintains BMS servers and architecture including regular backups, database maintenance, and driver upgrades.
• Develop models for system level control algorithms and functionality that provide superior performance, enhance reliability and diagnostics.
• Auto-generate code and work with software integration teams to build system functionality.
